Freaky Teacher!

Here she is! She lost her apple in the past 10 years though. It's one of those gifts from my parents that I couldn't quite understand and after 7 or 8 years, I started to like her. (She used to have a bigger nut for her nose like yours, but that fell out too, so I put one of her other ones in it's place. Looks nasty close up though!)

Freaky Thing's Pet
This creature is a Smoky Mountain Troll. It sits on a shelf in our dining room, and my kids hate it. They say it is freaky, and must be Beaker's pet. Occasionally this "pet" will slightly change positions so he appears to be watching a different person at the table. This causes quite a uproar when one of the kids glances up at the "pet", only to notice he is no longer facing the same direction he was 2 days ago. (hee hee!)

Beaker! Where are you?
Where are you Beaker? What are you planning? I get worried when you haven't put in an appearance for a while.

He's at it Again!
Beaker managed to show up one night during our Christmas visit. I turned off all the kitchen lights and laid down to go to sleep when the kitchen light was turned on again. I looked around to see if someone was hiding to play a trick on me, but no one was there. Everyone else in the house was in bed with their doors closed and asleep. And the light switch was still in the off position.
There is only one possible explanation . . . . . .BEAKER!
(Freaky things started to happen to my computer when I was trying to post this incident.)

Beaker Strikes Again!

Well, Beaker paid us a visit after he was 'abandoned' by his family. (They went to Virginia for Thanksgiving and left him home alone.) He sneaked into the fridge and ate pumpking pie! Then he left without saying a word--leaving the evidence behind! This is what I found when I went to get the pie out on Thanksgiving Day.

A Freaky Thing
In a previous post, I mentioned how some unexplained incidents led us to believe "Beaker" was causing mischief. Today I remembered another incident. It happened like this....
One evening my dh and I were watching tv. Our kids had all gone to bed. We have hardwood floors in our home, and we suddenly heard a loud sound. It sounded like someone took a flip-flop and slapped it down hard on the floor. And it sounded like it came from the nearby hallway. I jumped up and asked my dh, "Did you hear that?!" He said he did, and went to investigate. The boys were all asleep, but our dd was still awake. She said she had heard the noise, too, but didn't know what it was. We thought it could have been a light bulb shattering. It kind of sounded like it could have been that. But, all light bulbs were intact. We never did figure out what had made that noise -- which drives me crazy. I HATE unsolved mysteries!
